From "the girl whose mom has breast cancer" to "the girl with breast cancer"
To participate in our lives does not mean that we control our lives. Not to control our lives does not mean that we are passive. The most healing thing we can do for ourselves is to participate in the process of our lives as fully as we can - even when the unexpected and the fearful happen. ~unknown

Happy Monday
I was catching up on one of the many blogs I frequent and came across a post that really hit home. I can't even begin to explain how it's hit me and why, so please follow the link to Roni's Weigh and enjoy the read. Bring some kleenx with you.
That was a wonderful post, even if we don't know who wrote it! I only wish that I had learned those lessons a lot earlier in my life! Maybe I can point my daughters in the right direction NOW!! ~Erin
